Only wealthy families have hurting kids, right? Of course not! Parents of all social and financial backgrounds are faced with out-of-control teens. Thankfully, Advent Home’s doors are open to everyone! The challenge for many families, however, is meeting the monthly tuition fees needed to keep their son in the program. We encourage parents to seek support from relatives, friends, church and community. There are many people who want to help hurting children.
Ricky’s* parents were struggling to keep their son in the program, but did not give up hope. After being presented with Ricky’s situation, relatives promised to help meet his tuition expenses until he graduated.
Toni’s* relatives didn’t have the money to help him, but that didn’t stop his hard-working single mother! She knew Advent Home was the only hope for her wayward son. She appealed to her local church, and was promised half of the tuition costs for one year.
Not every family finds it easy to put their son through Advent Home. You can help them by supporting our Worthy Student Fund. Just fill in the attached envelope and return it to us. Your gift could help make it possible for boys like Ricky and Toni to receive the treatment they need!
