It is a blessing to witness entrepreneurs who see their businesses as a platform for serving others. At Advent Home, we experience this firsthand through the contributions our vendors and contractors make to help support our mission. Take Doug Crawford, for example. Doug, owner of Crawford Construction, is a residential and commercial building contractor who has helped AH for almost 4 years with numerous construction projects. He states, “I believe in your ministry. I believe in what you are doing.” It is not unusual to see Doug and his crew working at all hours of the day. This kind of sacrificial service has saved us a considerable amount of money during the construction of our school and staff housing. Other businessmen assist us by donating their equipment or giving substantial discounts on their services. Without their help, many projects would often be stalled for lack of funding. Thank you Doug, and many others, for your spirit of service over the years! | ||||
