When we went to the small church, a drunk was there. I didn’t want to touch him, but then I felt like he really needed help. So I put my arm around his shoulder and prayed for him. I felt joy and happiness. After we left, I decided I really wanted to help people when I get older. - Charlie 

I learned to trust God more.  At the beginning, some of us found out our passports were not here. We prayed for a long time and our passports came the next morning. It was an answer to prayer and it touched me very deeply. - Trevor 

I saw how the people lived in Costa Rica. They don’t have things like most people in the U.S., but they are satisfied and don’t whine and fuss. I used to be the one that always wanted the newest pair of Jordans or Nikes. When I didn’t get it, I got angry. After Costa Rica, I felt like a selfish brat. Now, I don’t need the newest, most expensive sneakers. I am fine with what I have. - Miles
