This hesitancy is voiced in various ways: “What if he feels rejected, or hates me for sending him away?”  Our response is, “How’s your relationship with him now?”  Most parents will admit that their son is already rebellious, disrespectful and ungrateful.  Enrolling him will not make it any worse.  In our experience, it will actually make it better! “I can’t afford it.”  Advent Home’s fees are extremely reasonable for the wide range of services offered, but may still be a financial challenge for some families. Seek support from your relatives or church.  Many may be willing to help out. “I’ll give him one more chance.”
