Mission statement

Mission: To reverse ADHD in a safe, minimum distraction environment. Advent Home Learning Center is a Christian-based learning center that provides remedial schooling, lifestyle changes and total wellness for at-risk boys and their families. Foundational Beliefs: Each person was created to be healthy, happy and productive. Sin has degenerated the perfect being that God created. Through the process of spiritual conversion and proper training, an individual can be restored to physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual wellness. Methodology: The Maturation Therapy® Curriculum focuses on harmonious development and growth. This methodology consists of three broad areas of personal progress: 1) Foundations of Growth: physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual faculties 2) Foundations of Self-Regard: individuality, responsibility, involvement, self-control and self-denial 3) Foundations of Interpersonal Skills: communication, cooperation, compassion and commitment. MT® forms the basis for remedial schooling, counseling, vocational training, total wellness and character development. Core Values: The core values of Advent Home Learning Center are: Service, Respect, Compassion, Discipline and Restoration. Staff members are to implement these values in their daily interaction with all clients.
