Re-Creation Field expansion
New Re-Creation Field
Mental and physical wellness go hand in hand.  That’s why outdoor education is a high priority at Advent Home.  Our new Re-Creation Field has been measured and leveled with the help of local community businesses. When complete, the field will provide a variety of recreational activities that promote fitness, teamwork, and skill building.  Soon we will need the following equipment:

Reaching out to the community
Wellness Program
Complete health has always been Advent Home’s goal.  Through diet, exercise, sunshine, temperance, fresh air and trust in God, students make positive and substantial lifestyle changes.  Now they have a chance to share what they have learned within the local community, through Advent Home’s new Wellness Program, co-ordinated by Elsie Owens.

Dave was a pastor before he retired in 2004. He had been following the progress of Advent Home with interest over the years.  After his retirement, Dave called Advent Home, asking how he could get involved.  He now spends most Tuesdays helping out with general repairs and maintenance.  His cheerful contribution is greatly appreciated!
